Propose To Your Girlfriend – Read These 10 Tips First

Saturday, January 2nd, 2010

Before you propose to your girlfriend, read the following tips! It is something that hopefully you’ll only have to do the once, so make sure you increase your chances!

1. Like all good lawyers, only ask the question if you know the answer! If you think there’s a good chance she’ll say “no” then she probably will! You obviously haven’t given your courtship long enough!

2. If you’re considering risking everything and proposing publicly ie at a ball game or in front of her family, then make sure you’re extra certain she’ll say yes! Otherwise you risk turning your happy occasion into the most humiliating experience of your life!

3. You really have to surprise the girl! Eliminate any chance of her finding out by only enlisting the help of trusted friends who can keep quiet.

4. If you’ve got your proposal idea from the internet, a book or from someone you know, then make sure you personalize it to your own experiences! Never carbon copy a proposal!

5. Take a knee! Its corny and cliche but it’s how since she was a little girl she always imagined her proposal would be, so don’t let her down!

6. Guard the ring! Don’t risk losing it in some elaborate engagement scheme by burying it in sand or giving it to the Dog to deliver to her! It’s not worth it!

7. Keep good eye contact! She’ll know that you mean it this way and also show confidence which she’ll find attractive!

8. Ambiance is the key to a good proposal! Most girls would take roses, music, food and candles over a huge ordeal in public!

9. Timing! For a long engagement go for a spring proposal! You could then realistically wait a whole year before having to marry! For a quick engagement propose in the winter! It just depends on how sure you are!!!

10. Relax! This is a huge moment for you both! As long as you planned everything then it’ll go fine! Enjoy it!

I hope you’ve gained some insight about how to Propose To Your Girlfriend you now may want to think about reading some actual engagement proposal stories! We have plenty of unique ideas to give you inspiration for when you Propose To Your Girlfriend! This is one of the most important moments in your life, so i wish you the best of luck for the occasion!

Best Wedding Proposals – 7 Romantic Proposals

Friday, January 1st, 2010

Here are a few of my best wedding proposals! I hope you gain some inspiration for your big moment!

The main thing to remember is that you should not copy an idea word for word as the best wedding proposals are always unique to the couple involved! This should be easy as you know her better than anybody else!

1. You could go building sand castles on the beach. You could “find” an old bottle which contains a love poem inside. It should ideally begin quite vague and then gradually become about her and your relationship. Propose to her after you’ve read it!

2. For the mature relationship and you’re extra certain of a yes answer, why not have an instant wedding? The laws in Hawaii are quite lenient and will allow for this! Of course you’ll need her friends and family involved. After you’ve proposed, hold the wedding on the spot!

3. Get her three red roses! One can represent the past, one the present and the final rose with the ring attached can represent the future.

4. Visit a health spa and get pampered! Change into your best clothes and head off to a photo shoot! During the shoot go down on one knee and propose to her. You’ll have the photos forever! Then go to the best restaurant in town followed by a night at a 5 star hotel!

5. Hire a horse and a suit of armour! Tell her to meet you in the park at lunch time and then turn up a few minutes late as a knight! Swing from the horse and propose while a friend plays Holsts “Jupiter” from some nearby bushes!

6. Pick her up from work in a rented limo! Present her a red rose and have her favourite outfit ready for her! Take her to the best restaurant in town and have them serve you in the back of the limo. Have romantic music playing with the privacy window up. Then propose over champagne.

7. Take a trip down memory lane! Walk past the spot where you first met! Have your first ever meal at the spot you had your first ever picnic! Listen to your special music then watch your first ever movie together! Then propose! She will love the fact you remembered all the little things!

I hope you gained some insight into these Best Wedding Proposals and that you now have some suggestions and inspiration for your own proposal! I’ve sneakily held back some of my very Best Wedding Proposals for my blog! Please feel free to take a look! Proposing to your special lady will be one of the most important moments of your life. Have an Expert Design a Wedding Ring for You

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

Wedding rings are the seal of a marriage and as far as a couple is concerned, the most important aspect to get right; unlike so many other wedding items that need to be arranged, this is one area that belongs solely to the couple. Take as much the time as needed to consider which will be chosen. Find rings that symbolize your commitment to each other in the years to come. The location of your nearest jeweler who stocks wedding rings could be found on the Internet; whilst a shopping mall may be the favored destination it is unlikely this is the best place to try.

If you are lucky you might find enough variety but these stores often only carry a small selection of rings. It is in your best interest to find a jeweler that specializes so you will have enough styles and materials to choose from. Of course it should go without saying that the wedding ring you choose must complement the engagement ring that your partner is wearing.

Couples should not purchase wedding rings that overpower the engagement ring as these rings are meant to be understated; some rings have been made to complement each other and these should be the type you seek. To achieve this, the easiest method is to place both the wedding band and engagement ring side by side and if it is not possible to try the ring on.

Despite the huge range of materials that can are used these days, the most popular are still Titanium, Yellow Gold, White Gold, Platinum and even Silver. Recently however, platinum has become the metal of choice because of its durability. Choosing a ring that is made of durable material is especially important for the groom’s ring and platinum is an ideal choice. Why men? Well they are more likely to damage their ring whilst working; a greater number of men still work in manual industries than women.

Ensuring the wedding rings fit perfectly is essential. This ensures there won’t be a problem fitting the rings on the wedding day. It can be embarrassing if the rings are too loose or too tight, as no-one wants to lose their ring.

It is not uncommon for couples to leave having the rings adjusted until close to the wedding day. This can cause the jeweler problems because he may have others to adjust for the same day, so allow plenty of time for this. Choosing wedding bands you will both like and that match the engagement ring may take some time. Allow for this as it is not uncommon for couples to choose in haste and then regret their decision later.

The most important thing to remember is your wedding rings are a symbol of your everlasting love, and that wherever you go around the world, the ring will instantly tell a person of your status.

Have you ever thought about whether you could design a wedding ring for your big day, and the rest of your life? Or perhaps stylish antique wedding rings are more your style? Find out the facts.

Double Dating – is an Old Tradition

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

Double dating is an agreeable way to go out and have a good date with your girlfriend or boyfriend and another couple. It also gives your partner the opportunity to meet your friends and it can provide a comfortable, more casual date for someone who might be a little anxious and possibly not ready to go out on a one-to-one date just yet. Judging by the old films we see from time to time on television, even the black and white ones dating from the 1920’s, double dating has always been very popular.

Double dating is also an excellent idea if you would like to meet someone new, but you are not really comfortable being alone with them yet. To resolve this, you can request a couple you know to come with you as well. This allows you to be around individuals you are relaxed with, while you are getting to know your date. Some people prefer to go on a double date first, so that they are not so nervous on that all-important first date, because as we all know, first impressions count a great deal.

Going on a double date also gives your date the opportunity to get to know you through your friends. After all, your date is probably just as tense as you are and it will give them a chance to speak to someone of their own sex every now and again. Just make sure that it does not turn into a segregated evening with the guys talking football and drinking too much and the girls getting bored and drinking too much! You must remember to talk to your date more than you talk to anyone else.

It might be a good plan to invite a couple that will say decent things about you, if you really like your date and you want to meet them again, although you shouldn’t induce them to sing your praises, as it will only sound false. It will be better in the end, if you let your date see you for what you are, otherwise you are only being false, which means you’re only putting off the inevitable.

Your date will get a very good impression about the kind of person you are from observing the company you keep the things they do and the things they say about you. It is a really good method to get another perspective on the person you are going out with or if you want your date to know more about you.

So, double dating provides a relaxed experience when you don?t want to go out with your date alone but you do want to get to know them and people have been doing it this way for at least a hundred years.

In addition, double dating provides an admirable method for you and your date to observe how each other of you interact with your friends and other people like waiters, waitresses, barmen and other staff members that one interacts with in one’s normal daily life. These interactions can tell you a lot about someone.

Double Dating is in great demand! See who is looking for you in your town or city at Online Dating

The two of you will have many shared experiences and so you should customize any idea to be personal to the two of you!

Now take a look at the following engagement proposal ideas:

1. Mail her a photo of you on one knee with a special love poem. Wait outside her house for the post to arrive, when you hear her scream, knock on the door and get down on one knee in person.

2. Say that you’re away on a business trip for a special anniversary time. You’ll be away for 2 weeks. Go 1 week without seeing her to make it seem real, then on the anniversary, surprise her with your presence and propose.

3. Go on a hot air balloon ride at night time. Go over the city and looking down on the light and under the stars, you can propose to her.

4. Go building sand castles, or digging for shells on the beach. You can “stumble” upon an old bottle with a love poem inside. Read her the poem, it will become clear it is about her and then propose.
